Introduction to the Agile 2007 Conference
Beginners Program · Other
Tuesday, 10:30, 1 hour 30 minutes | Congressional Hall A
New to the conference? New to Agile? Need a plan? Not sure what to expect or what you want to take away from the conference? At one time or another we were all there and we learned that the greatest asset in the agile community is the agile community. Come and join us and create a personal release plan to guide your journey through this conference. This session is designed to help newcomers understand how the conference is organized, and how they can best select sessions/activities to attend. Attendees will use agile principles to build a "vision" for what they would like to learn, a set of "themes" related to that vision, and a "release plan" related to those themes. We will also develop acceptance criteria for evaluating their experience throughout the week. Presenters from the Beginners Program sessions will be present to answer questions and facilitate working in small groups. This is a working session utilizing agile planning techniques, not just a meet and greet. You will make connections with the agile community and make a plan to begin your agile conference.
